Transfer Station Household Hazardous Waste Facility

The project is located at 220 N College Dr. This project is to develop site improvements to facilitate a Household Hazardous Waste Facility and incorporate provisions in the site development to accommodate the future expansion of the Transfer Station Facility. The proposed site is to accommodate a 60 x 40 building with a pass through travel way, an area for dumpster roll-offs, and provisions public vehicles to unload household wastes into the dumpsters from above.  In addition, the site will incorporate a fueling island for Transfer Station equipment. The existing Transfer Station is multi-level and the proposed expansion continues that concept. The pictures show progress on constructing the retaining walls for a roll-off-containers and public unloading facilities at the Household Hazardous Waste Facility, May 21, 2014. Cost:  $2.2 M, Completion Date: Fall 2014
